Gone but not Forgotten: Author Robert B. Parker provided many, many hours of pleasant reading for the past four decades. Known most for the Spenser series, his dialog crackled and leapt off the page, his sentences were silky smooth---like an expensive dessert, his books did not last long, but they were an immense pleasure. A most prolific writer, there are still three novels due for release this year…a Spenser, a Jesse Stone and a Virgil Cole/Everett Sloan western.
